My name is Monique, and I am the sole owner & product developer here at Forbidden Fruit.I am a mystical, magical muse who seeks to awaken & inspire creativity in everyone I have the honor of meeting. For as long as I can member I’ve always had a challenging spirit, a deep fascination for the metaphysical, an unhealthy obsession with Greek Mythology (no seriously! I carved Poseidon out of a bar of soap in the 5th grade for a school project), and a burning desire to learn while creating from the heart space.
I am also a retired stylist, designer, published model, visual merchandise manager, vision doula/visual director, creative director, creative consultant & business consultant. All of my previous work experiences, client relationships and hyper fixations have prepared me for my entrepreneurial journey. I’m so thankful to have acquired the transferable skill sets that are now the backbone of my growing business.
This is why it brings me great pleasure to own and operate Forbidden Fruit as it beautifully fuses together who I am as a person, as an artist and all my soul burning desires. I now own a brand that is rooted in the mystical, connecting to the divine and adding magic to the mundane.
