The Arachne Elixir: this tonic is conjured to invoke and honor the spider spirit and creative— Arachne. Being the Goddess of spiders she reminds us that we are the weavers of our own destiny and creative endeavors. This elixir acts as an aid in regaining control over your life, providing guidance as you claim your path, clarity as you focus on your goals, strength to remove any creative blockages and support in all your creative ideas.

Story of Arachne: Arachne once human, was a skillful and beautiful weaver. She was so graceful in her work that nymphs traveled the world to see her. The nymphs would marvel how Athena graced her with a remarkable gift. Arachne denied receiving divine assistance of any kind. When Athena heard this, greatly offended she decided to pay Arachne a visit. Disguised as an old peasant woman tried to instill wisdom onto Arachne and advised she gave proper respect to the goddess of crafts. Arachne refused and demanded Athena came to her herself and stopped avoiding a contest.

Athena dropped her disguise, furious at the arrogance of Arachne, excepted the challenge. Athena's tapestry began to take shape, showing a scene of the Olympian Gods enthroned in glory. Arachne's tapestry took shape as Athena worked her own depiction of the gods glory— she showed them in their true light. Her tapestry showed Zeus, his brother and his sons as lustful brutes who terrorize both goddesses and mortal women.

The scenes infuriated Athena— equally as upsetting was she could find no flaw in Arachne's work. Athena tore her competitors work to shreds and overcome by rage assaulted Arachne. Arachne overwhelmed with emotion hung herself with her tapestry.

Athena was angry but pitied Arachne's suicide so she saved her by turning her into a spider— doomed to weave for all of eternity.
